Hello!

I wanted to write a little something about using my music in your content. I’ve had various questions over this through the years so here it is in more formal writing.

What music can I use?

In short, if you have purchased either E:Blue, X-17, the Degner EP or The Vault: 2017-2021, these are not in the YouTube content ID system and you don’t need whitelisting to use music from these releases. If you’re using anything from these, read on below.

Victory Lap and future releases will require whitelisting. Please get in contact with me to work something out.

If you would like to use the covers I’ve uploaded over the years to SoundCloud, I can’t really give you permission myself for these as they’re unlicensed cover versions. If you want to give it a shot and see if you don’t get dinged then feel free, but I’m not responsible if you do get hit.

I am a small creator/streamer/broadcaster/etc

Feel free to use anything listed above. You do not need to get in contact with me, though if you want to do so that’s still fine with me! I’d love to know what you’re going to do with it.

All I ask is that attribution is clearly given when it is used and a link to any one of either this website, my social media, my SoundCloud or Bandcamp page is provided, via chat command, YouTube description, Twitch info card etc.

The above generally applies, but I would appreciate getting in touch at sam@amphobius.ie to work out a proper sync license with a small (and hopefully fair) revenue share. There is no obligation to do this, however.

You may not have free access to my music. Please get in contact at sam@amphobius.ie and I will give a quote for initial payment and discuss a sync license.
